Dr. Maria Montessori did not trademark her name, which means any school can attach "Montessori" to their name. The best way to know authentic Montessori is to see it in action, which is why we ask that families tour before considering our school. We also ask that you tour several schools- Montessori or Traditional, as each have something different to offer and we want to make sure your family is choosing a school that is right for your family.

Our school only offers care five days a week. This is to help provide consistency in your child's routines. In Infant, Toddler and Pre-K Primary, families are able to choose a half day- 8:30-12:00 or a Full Day- 8:30-3:00 schedule.

It's a pro and a con to be an intentionally small Montessori school. The pro is that we can provide high quality care and create a cohesive community with staff and families... The con is that staying small often means a waitlist. Most of our programs do have a waitlist. In order to get on the waitlist, families must tour our school.

Lunch is provided by families on a daily basis. Home packed lunches do need to follow AZDHS regulations which include: 1. Milk, fluid 2. Vegetables or Fruits 3. Grains and 4. Meat or meat alternates.

See a sample schedule for each program under the "Programs" tab.

We are not a religiously affiliated school. However; our Primary program does offer the opportunity to pray in the morning and at lunch. Our school's roots do have some Catholicism attached as one of our treasured teachers, Ms. Tessie, comes from a Catholic Montessori School and is trained in the Catechesis of the Good Shepard.

We love when families share their culture and faith with us! Please let us know if your family has special traditions or holidays that you would like to celebrate as a community!
